In March 2023, on the sidelines of the ninth Africa Regional Forum on Sustainable Development, I had the distinct privilege of attending the annual meeting of the UN Deputy Secretary-General with the Resident Coordinators in Africa, held in Niamey, Niger. It was an enlightening experience that brought forth critical insights about Africa’s position on the global stage and the pressing challenges the continent faces.
In another enlightening experience in Niamey, I was inspired by the call from the Deputy Secretary-General for the Africa Regional Collaborative Platform to bolster its transformative support.
